NEW Honda Skydeck MPV with scissor doors

NEW Honda Skydeck MPV  concept can seat 6 people in a three-row passenger configuration (2+2+2). Honda’s last 6-seater was the Honda Edix which has now been phased out, but that MPV had its 6 seats in a two row configuration, similiar to what Fiat did for their Multipla.

The styling cues are quite obviously inspired by the CR-Z, which leads me to believe this kind of look might become quite commonplace on future Hondas. The front doors
have a scissor hinge like a Lamborghini while the rear door is of the rearward-sliding variety. The powertrain is of course a hybrid but no further details have been revealed.

More will probably be disclosed at the Tokyo show next month, so stay tuned, but for now you can look after the jump for hi-res images.

Honda EV-N Concept: the retro-styled electric car

The Honda EV-N Concept is surprisingly retro-styled in a sea of very futuristic Honda concepts being released in the past 2 to 3 years. Like you can probably expect from its name, the EV-N Concept is an electric car, though for the moment Honda has not released any details on its motor and battery specifications. It’s probably got a pretty short range though, designed to be used for short commutes in cities like Tokyo.

The Aprilia RS50 is a GP derived replica sport production motorcycle made by Aprilia. It is powered by a single cylinder 2-stroke aluminium cylinder block, liquid cooled 50cc AM6 engine. The bike is popular in countries that have restrictions on motorcycle engine size. The bike is 7/8ths the size of the average bike and is perfect for smaller or shorter riders. At 175lbs. dry weight, it is easy to maneuver and support while stopped, making it popular among beginners and smaller-sized riders. Aprilia is back. And they aren't messing around. Or at least so they say. And judging by their 2009 World Superbike rider lineup of multi-time 250cc GP world champion Max Biaggi and Alex Hofmann (current test rider), both of whom have an uber-long list of racing credentials, we think it would be best for the competition to take them seriously. We are.

The WSBK boys will be astride the all-new RSV4, a first for the Italian marque, which until now has been known for its V-Twin sport motorcycles and an ever-growing scooter lineup. The 65-degree V-Four engine sits at 998.9cc, just under the 1000cc Superbike limit, and features "total electronic engine management," thus we expect fly-by-wire throttle and traction control to come as standard equipment. They claim these electronics will be managing in the neighborhood of 180 horsepower, putting it right up there with the best of them.

Aprilia NA 850 Mana is the Naked Bike washed-use features computer-controlled CVT automatic transmission.
