President Jim Leo will present “Racing Fitness,” in which he will explain why physical fitness and proper nutritional habits can enhance the performance and safety of a racing driver. Leo’s presentation takes place Saturday, January 22 (starting at 3 p.m.) in the Seminar Room at the Canadian Motorsports Expo.

As one of auto racing’s most respected and renowned fitness trainers, Jim Leo’s PitFit Training organization has grown into a worldwide operation. His client list includes an array of motorsports’ best such as Dario Franchitti, Scott Dixon, Kasey Kahne and Paul Tracy, and rising stars such as J.R. Hildebrand, Wade Cunningham and Toronto’s Indy Lights driver, James Hinchcliffe.
Jim began his career in the world of motorsports in 1993, designing a training program and cutting edge fitness centre for Penske Racing. In 1997, Leo started PitFit Training, offering driver training, pit crew performance training and sports nutrition to clients at its headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana. Since then, PitFit Training has added staff and grown to a worldwide operation with staff located through North America and clients all over the world.
