Ranger delivers PNH Innovations spectacular win on home turf
Andrew Ranger overcame an early mishap to capture a spectacular NASCAR Canadian Tire Series win in the Grand Prix of Trois Rivieres Sunday. The PNH Innovations-sponsored driver made contact with fellow competitor JR Fitzpatrick while battling for the lead, and he fell back to eighth place before carving through the field to retake the lead.
Ranger raced his way to third before capitalizing on a late race restart to pass both Fitzpatrick and Kerry Micks in one move to secure the top spot. He never relinquished the lead scoring his second victory of 2010 for PNH Innovations.
``I want to thank my sponsors the Dodge Dealers of Quebec and PNH Innovations,” said Ranger after the race. “Dave Jacombs gave me a great car to drive, and I’m very happy with the win.
“I used up alot of my brakes getting back to the front. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to pass JR. The car was excellent.”
With its corporate headquarters in Montreal, Quebec, the victory was especially rewarding for PNH Innovations who entered a marketing partnership with Ranger in 2010.
“We knew we had a great opportunity with Andrew,” said PNH Vice President, Business Development, Court Armstrong. “He’s such an outstanding driver, and we couldn’t be happier that he won on his home turf. Now we’ll focus on the Montreal race, and we hope to find victory lane again.”
As a sponsor, PNH Innovations has seen great success with Ranger. After four races with the Quebec star Ranger has earned two wins and one runner-up result.
PNH Innovations is using its marketing partnership with Ranger to promote its vehicle wrap print production and installation services. PNH serves its growing market with locations in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, and New York. For more information on PNH Innovations visit www.pnh.ca.
