Preview of Friday's racing (Aug 27) at Delaware Speedway!

Can NACAR Late Model drivers really be only two race nights away from the The Great Canadian Race?

Yes, summer is drawing to a close and taking the Whelen All-American Series 2010 season with it but not before some crucial competition to jockey for starting position in the Great Canadian 200 on September 5.

Some say this year's NASCAR Late Model championship is Ron Sheridan's to lose but Scott Lindsay might beg to differ - Lindsay is second-place in the points standings, 25 points back of "Rocket" Ron.  Jamie Ramsay, Andrew Gresel and Matt Box round out the top five as the NASCAR Late Models take to the track on August 27.  Racing is sponsored by Bedell's Foodservice Distributors.

The leaders in Delaware Super Stocks are in a very tight battle.  Only two points separate Steve Smith and Kris Lawrence heading into Friday night's race, with Jason Lidster a mere four-points behind of Lawrence.

Paul Fothergill is the leader in Demar Aggregates Trucks and as defending champion, he'd like to win back-to-back titles.

The Transmission Direct Enduro competitors will also take to the track on Friday night in another Enduro Challenge.

Join us Friday night and be sure to get your tickets for The Great Canadian Race Weekend – three days of racing action at Delaware including the Great Canadian 200 and the return of train races!  Weekend value passes and single tickets are still available!
